Womb & Fertility Massage

“A woman’s centre is her womb. If her womb is out of balance, so is she.”

– Don Elijio Panti

Womb and Fertility Massage is an external, non-invasive massage technique designed to support female reproductive, digestive and pelvic health. By incorporating a blend of massage techniques, acupressure points, pulsing and energy work. It helps internal organs regain or retain their correct position within the abdominal cavity, restoring the flow of blood, nerve, lymph and chi/prana (energy). By increasing flow to the pelvic space, we can activate the body’s own innate wisdom to restore balance to this area and the organs surrounding it. This treatment works to naturally clear congestion, break down scar tissue, encourage fresh blood flow to the ovaries and clear pathways for optimal hormonal health.

Womb Massage also helps to release tension and built-up emotions that are often stored within the womb and pelvic space, allowing women to reconnect with their bodies and womb on a much deeper level.

This sacred ritual is available to all women, at any stage of life.

CONTRAINDICATED: in pregnancy, if you have an IUD fitted or if you have had recent abdominal surgery.

Who can benefit from a Womb Massage?

Womb Massage is a beautiful support for women who have experienced or are experiencing;

  • endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids or polyps

  • fertility struggles

  • amenorrhea or irregular cycles

  • hormonal imbalances

  • PMS, painful periods, clotting

  • failure to ovulate or painful ovulation

  • postpartum

  • birth trauma

  • stillbirth, miscarriage or termination

  • pelvic pain or infections

  • perimenopause/menopausal

  • sexual or emotional abuse

  • disconnection from self

  • energetic blockages

This sacred treatment is more than just a massage, it’s an invitation to heal. By unlocking the connection to your womb, you can address physical ailments and embrace a deeper, more intuitive understanding of your body and psyche. This practice guides you on a journey of self-discovery and emotional freedom, empowering you to reclaim your authentic self.

Whether you are dealing with specific health issues or just looking to enhance your overall well-being, the benefits of this practice are profoundly transformative.

Internal Pelvic Release Work (IPRW) is a holistic approach to pelvic care that combines external alignment of the bony pelvis with internal release of the soft tissues to reduce pelvic pain, improve pelvic floor function, improve prolapse symptoms and enhance overall wellbeing, at any stage of life.

The pelvis can store tension for a myriad of reasons. Some of these include posture, previous injury, muscle imbalance, physical or emotional trauma, repetitive movements, surgery and lifestyle choices. This tension can result in misalignment, weakness or pain and can negatively impact the function of the womb, ovaries, bladder and bowel. During an IPRW session tension can be identified and invited to release with directed breathing and gentle but intentional touch, allowing the tissues to soften, release and come back into balance.

Who is IPRW for?

IPRW can be beneficial for any woman, at any stage of life. But may be particularly helpful for:

  • women preparing for birth

  • women healing from birth

  • if you are experiencing pelvic pain

  • if you experience pain from endometriosis or adenomyosis

  • if you experience discomfort in intimacy

  • if you have scars from birth (caesarean, tears or episiotomy)

  • if you experience pelvic floor dysfunction

  • if you experience painful periods or ovulation

  • if you have prolapse symptoms

  • if you have been harmed by another

  • if you have vaginismus/vulvodynia

  • if you feel your pelvic floor is weak/tight

  • if you are curious to learn more about your pelvic space or body

What is involved in a session?

A two hour hands-on session includes:

  • Understanding your history, birth story (if relevant) and finding out your goals

  • Assessment of posture and pelvic alignment

  • Assessment of any musculoskeletal injuries if relevant as pelvic issues rarely exist in isolation

  • External body work and pelvic rebalancing

  • Scar release work (if required)

  • Full informed consent for internal pelvic release work will be discussed due to the sensitive nature of this work

  • Internal pelvic release work (usually 20-30 minutes per side or as tolerated)

  • Time to go through ‘homework’ with exercises for either birth preparation or pelvic health exercise as needed

Note: If you are seeking IPRW for birth preparation, it is best to book when you are in your third trimester of pregnancy around 30-32 weeks. An additional session may be necessary at 36-37 weeks depending on tissues. It is never "too late" to receive IPRW in pregnancy.

If you are seeking IPRW for postpartum care, it is best to wait until at least 16 weeks postpartum.

The payment plan option is to pay $100 at the time of booking (online) and the remaining $100 at your appointment. I am happy to accommodate for alternative payment plans if needed. Please contact me to arrange.

Birth Debriefs

Reclaim Your Birth Experience

The moments surrounding childbirth are pivotal and deeply personal. Whether you cherish the experience or are struggling with unresolved feelings, understanding these moments fully is crucial. Your story carries tremendous worth, and I am here to listen.

Addressing the emotions surrounding your birth can be incredibly valuable in moving forward. At Feminine Healing, I am committed to ensuring that every woman feels validated and respected in her experience, without the fear of judgment. It is my highest intention to listen with empathy and provide insightful reflections, creating room for genuine healing.

I understand the importance of a safe space where you can unfold your story, free from preconceptions and with complete confidentiality. This is not just about recounting the events that transpired but also about how you felt - your fears, your elations, and everything in between.

During a birth debrief, you are provided with the opportunity to:

  • Gain a clearer picture of the events that happened during your birth

  • Explore your emotions in a safe space

  • Ask any questions about your birth experience

  • Have your experiences acknowledged and validated

  • Discuss ways to move forward and begin to heal

Your birth story is a powerful narrative and acknowledging it can be the first step towards profound healing. Embrace the opportunity to be heard, understood, and supported.

So, what is it?

Placenta encapsulation is the practice of preparing the mother’s placenta to be ingested, after it has undergone a particular process to be made into capsules. At Feminine Healing, I follow the Traditional Chinese Medicine method which involves cleaning the placenta and removing the cord and amniotic sac, the placenta is then steamed with ginger, lemon and cayenne pepper which all have their own role in providing healing properties to the postpartum Mother. Once the steaming phase is complete, the placenta is then sliced and placed into a food-grade dehydrator and is dehydrated for approximately 10-12 hours. Lastly, the dried placenta is placed into a food processor and ground into a powder, which is then made into approximately 80-150 capsules, ready for consumption.

What are the benefits?

It is said that consuming the placenta after birth is beneficial in returning the abundant number of vitamins, minerals, hormones and iron stored in the placenta, back to the mother to aid in postpartum healing. Most women who consume their placenta report increased energy levels, increased milk supply, increased oxytocin production, a decrease in postpartum mood disorders, a decrease in stress hormones, and the restoration of iron levels post-birth.

If you would like to book in to have your placenta encapsulated, please fill out the questionnaire below and I will be in touch to confirm. Once your booking is confirmed, I will send you additional information on the safe handling and storage of your placenta and all the information you need to know.
